Welcome to the Superior District Library

Located in the Eastern Upper Peninsula, the Superior District Library is the largest geographical district in the state of Michigan.  The district is comprised of eight locations across the region, and provides a variety of resources, including: free Wi-Fi access 24/7, computers, books and magazines in both print and electronic formats, programs for all ages, printing, copying, free notary service, and much more.

All of our libraries are open to the public, and your library card gets you access to not only all eight SDL locations but also allows you to request materials from all across the state; delivered right to your local library.
